Step 1: select the raw material (acacia logs)

We only select the logs of 7 years old and above so the wood is adequately firm and soft at the same time.

Step 2: Cut the logs into timbers of the required length (1.27m – 1.3m)

Step 3: Round the log

Logs are naturally uneven in size, so they will be brought to the woodworking machine to be rounded. Rounding the wood will make it easier to peel the veneer and give it a nice quality.

Step 4: Peel the veneer out following the size of 1270mm * 640mm* 1,7 – 2mm or as request

Step 5: Air-dry

After being cut, the moisture content of the veneers is very high (50-70%). Depending on the weather condition, veneers will be air dried for 2-3 days so the moisture contect reaches to 10-15% which prevents them from getting moldy or rigid.
