EASTLIFT Spider Lift Operation Manual

Spider lifts belong to aerial work platforms, which are widely used in building construction, electric power maintenance, indoor and outdoor cleaning, and other fields. When using the spider boom lift, you need to follow a series of safety operation steps and precautions to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation.

1. Preparation before operation:
Check whether the structure and appearance of the spider lift are in good condition to ensure that there is no damage or breakage.
Check whether the cables, power supply, and accessories such as tools are complete and reliable.
Ensure that all operators are trained and familiar with the operation manual. Before the operation, check fuel oil, hydraulic oil, battery power, charger, etc.
2. Start and stop:
Start the engine by turning on the key switch and pressing the green start button.
In case of emergency, you can press the emergency stop button to stop the equipment immediately.
3. Leg and platform adjustment:
Use the hydraulic control valve to place the spider lifts in a horizontal position and check the arc movement of the legs to ensure that no personal injury or damage to items will result.
The outriggers must be securely inserted into the ground to ensure stable support of the boom lift on slopes.
The superstructure should not be operated until the basket is properly secured and the outriggers are stable.
4. Travel and movement control:
When the cradle is moving, the direction of movement must be selected by the self-propelled hydraulic control valve and operated gradually.
The maximum traveling speed is 2km/h and the maximum uphill angle is 30 degrees.
Personnel must not stand behind the spider lift or on the angled side of the basket when traveling uphill or sideways.
5. Emergency control:
An emergency pump is a backup power source, when there is an emergency situation, you need to use the emergency pump to collect the lift and action operation. When using the emergency pump, it is necessary to always toggle the emergency switch and function switch to operate.
