YILLUMAX™ Heat Transfer Grade Economic Hi-light Reflective Vinyl HT-H33-0210 Series

            Reflective Material – hi-light Reflective Vinyl
            HT-H33-0210 series is composed of wide angle exposed
            high index reflective lens micro glass beads bonded to
            a PES heat activated adhesive with PET
            liner.
            
              When properly used, YillumaxTM
              
              Reflective Material - hi-light Reflective Vinyl
              HT-H33-0210 series helps enhance the visibility of
              the wearer to enhance visibility and reduce risk of
              being struck by vehicles in nighttime or low-light
              conditions when illuminated by a light source such as
              headlights, by returning the light back toward the
              original source and reaching the automobile driver's
              eye.

              Imaging Method: Images may be screen printed on the
              surface of some our reflective materials. All
              printing inks’ independent testing required to ensure
              acceptable adhesion, wipe the surface lightly with a
              soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol may help
              in adhesion, user assumes responsibility for fitness
              of inks printing.

              Application substrates: Many fabrics can be used as
              lamination substrates; however, some substrates such
              as nylons, water repellent fabrics or mesh fabrics
              are difficult to adhere to. Continuous independent
              testing required to ensure acceptable in mass
              production, user assumes responsibility for fitness
              for substrates adhesion.

              Recommended application: Rotary die cutting, hand
              cut, guillotined, good for plotter cutting and easy
              weed, ink printing, hot press bonding

Reflective Performance

        
        The coefficient of retro-reflection (RA in cd/lux/m2) is
        measured by methods traceable to either of the following
        retroreflective intensity testing procedures: En ISO 20471
        Combined Performance.

        The coefficient of retro-reflection exceed the minimum
        retro-reflectivity requirements in according to En ISO
        20471 Combined Performance as
        bellow,

Application

        
        Whenever two or more pieces of YillumaxTM
        Reflective Material - Transfer Film are used together on a
        single surface or as a set, they should be matched to
        ensure uniform daytime color and nighttime retro
        reflectivity. All high visibility safety garments should be
        constructed in accordance with the appropriate standard
        (s).

        Heat Application

        *Time: 10-20 Seconds

        *Temperature: 130-150 °C (270-300 °F)

        *Pressure: Firm (30-40 psi)

        *Peel: cool to room temperature

        Cutting and Plotting

        Die-cutting is recommended, although it can also be
        hand-cut or guillotined. When apply YillumaxTM
        Reflective Material – Heat Transfer Film to plotter for
        images cutting, remove adhesive side liner (if that product
        has one), the protective PET film on the surface of
        reflective side should be used as the carrier until plotted
        images are applying (laminating) to target
        substrate.

        REMARK: Choose the recommended YillumaxTM
        Reflective Material - Transfer Film for plotter cutting.
        HT-H33-0210 is NOT recommended for plotter
        cutting.

        Image print

        Images may be printed on the surface of some
        YillumaxTM
        Reflective Material – Transfer Film. All inks should be
        continuously tested to ensure acceptable adhesion in the
        event of change occurring in the manufacturing process or
        composition of the ink.

        Prior to printing, wiping the surface with a soft cloth
        lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol may help ink
        adhesion. Printed are as will not be
        retro-reflective.
        
          Transfer Iron On
          Lamination

        
        
        
        1- Work on a flat surface where uniform heat and pressure
        can be applied. Avoid applying film over seams and
        stitches.


        2- Remove adhesive side line (if that product has one),
        exposing dry adhesive. Do not remove reflective side
        liner.


        3- Place YillumaxTM
        Reflective Material - Transfer Film on substrate with the
        adhesive side down and apply heat and pressure as described
        in the table below. Place a non-stick slip sheet between
        the platen and laminating surface to prevent any excess
        adhesive transfer contamination.


        4- Allow application to cool to room temperature before
        removing the liner covering the reflective side (if that
        product has one).


        Place application on a flat surface and remove the liner by
        lifting one corner and pulling (about 45o angle) in a
        continuous, smooth manner.
