Chaceon is a genus of crabs from the family Geryonidae.

The crab breasts correspond to the legs of this species, characterized by a hard hard shell but a delicate and exquisite flesh that will delight the most demanding palates. Ideal to add variety and good taste in a good seafood.

It has an orange color with brown areas and its maximum length is 160mm.

It is fished at FAO 34, located in the southeastern sector of the Atlantic Ocean (Mauritania) with frozen tango boats.

The crab breasts are presented raw and deep-frozen, insold by kg, in 1 kg boxes, with the minimum unit of sale being a pallet (500/600 kg).

And they can be found in different sizes:

• 10 – 20 pieces/kg
• >20 pieces/kg

The crab mouths are presented raw and deep-frozen on board, in sold by kg, in 1 kg boxes, with the minimum unit of sale being a pallet (500/600 kg).

And they can be found in 4 different sizes:

• 6-8 pieces/kilo
• 9-10 pieces/kilo
• 10-11 pieces/kilo
• 11-12 pieces/kilo

Those with the "N" at the name have black colour.
