Safe-Pro USA is the U.S. manufacturer of bullet resistant vests (Overt and Covert - Tactical and Concealable) with Standard and Custom designs. The concealable vest shown here is full coverage Male with ballistic protection on Front, Sides and Back. This vest is available in black and navy blue color (other colors are accepted subject to availability). The outer carrier is constructed of comfort microfiber fabric and a 3D breathable mesh lining inside. It has a 4-point adjustable closure system with elastic straps- 2 on the shoulders and 2 on the sides. Shirt tails are provided front and back for tucking inside the trousers. The ballistic inserts are removable from the outer carrier. This vest is offered in the choice of NIJ 0101.06 Level II and level IIIA protection levels. The ballistic insert set of Front and Back is offered in Standard and Lightweight options. With the Standard inserts, Size large NIJ level IIIA vest weighs approximately 5 lbs. (2.3 Kgs) and with Light weight inserts, it weighs approximately 4.5 lbs. (2.01 Kgs). The average thickness of the Standard vest solution is approximately 10mm and the Lightweight version 7 mm. This vest is offered in standard sizes of Small, Medium, Large and X-Large (U.S. sizing criteria). Custom sizes are accepted at an add-on price. Both versions of the vest are flexible. The ballistic inserts are constructed of 100% aramid (U.S.).
