KRAL-Milan Kral Partizanske Slovakia-Working shoesMilan Kral the sole owner, set up company KRAL in 1992 as a trade company originally. Due to great demand for working shoes he decided to extend on 9th May 1995 its activities to manufacturing the shoes. The production has begun in temporary leased premises with 12 workers. During next 6 years the company developed rapidly, above all its manufacturing part. Now we produce more than 20 different types of high quality working footwear. The company has about 200 employees and manufactures also rubber soles and rubber footwear. The daily production capacity is 1. 500-pair shoes and 3. 500-pair soles. 80% of our production is exported into 6 European countries. The rest, 20% is sold in domestic Slovak market. The company has moved into new purchased premises, which enable also next expansion of the company. In a short time we are going to start production of shoes by new modern technology equipment-direct-injection press machines. These fully automated ring systems inject polyurethane compound directly onto upper. Implementation of this new technology is very time, capital and skill intensive, but we have gained a lot of know-how by visiting leading international exhibitions in Singapore, United Arab Emirates and so on and consulting it with the footwear experts. We are sure that starting this new technology helps us in being abreast of competition and to establish oneself in world market.
